Softball Sundays is about making the most of the final day of the weekend -- rather than sitting around with a hangover waiting for Monday to roll around. It costs £5 to play and allows you to enjoy the great outdoors on Clapham Common. Obviously, SS is about playing softball. But don't be put off if you haven't played the game -- it's just like rounders with a big ball. We'll explain the rules beforehand and we play slow pitch so EVERYONE can hit the ball. Once you've made your booking, we'll organize you into a team -- all you have to do is show up on the afternoon. If you book with friends, we can put you into the same team. Everyone is welcome at Softball Sundays, for singles it could be about meeting new people, but it also provides the perfect opportunity for couples to spend time together whilst getting some exercise. First and foremost though it's about fun and because we play just yards from one of the most vibrant areas of London, there'll always be a group trip to the pub on offer at the close of play. I met Adam while studying at Loughborough University. After Loughborough, I achieved a master’s in journalism in the USA, where I lived for two years -- picking up a love of softball in the process. I hold a level one softball coaching certificate. My day job is working as a freelance sports broadcaster. My aim is to make Softball Sundays an international success, so I can devote myself full-time to it! Name: Adam Cox Title: Softball Sundays Co-director. Age: 26. Co-founder of Softball Sundays. Had the misfortune to be in the same Halls as Ed at Loughborough University. Since finishing Uni I have started a career working for the international Sports Management and Marketing company IMG.
